Just got done playing Soul Core. WHAT HAVE I DONE!? I uber-solved it.
I guess you'll have to read my review of it.
Okay, I've gotten my share of flaming for this, so I figure it can't hurt more to do this...
I'm not a fan of the recent MGS flash collaboration. It's graphic, base, and largely without any kind of humor that requires thought to make. Some of it is really nothing more than a word-for-word retelling of one of the game's events, with one or more fart/scat/penis jokes thrown in. How much talent does that take to write?
I prefer humor that either relies on wordplay or is based on a defiance of expectations. When my scores or reviews reflect that, people tend to get nasty with their disagreements.
Thoughts? I'd tell you not to flame, but let's face it: those of you who will, will.

Shame. I find it's the best way to get a feel for your own level of talent without the bias of self-evaluation or even leaving it to friends. I've only gotten a few responses from what little feedback I've given in the past, but a lot of it is needlessly negative.
If I don't insult you, don't insult me. If you think I've insulted your work, on the other hand, just take a step back for two friggin' seconds and see if you can at least acknowledge what I'm talking about. If you still think my opinion is off, tell me so. Tell me why. Have a discussion, if you want.
Don't make it personal if it doesn't have to be. All of our lives are stressful enough, I'm sure.

There's a lot of really admirable work on this site, and I'm disappointed in the fact that I really can't contribute anything of my own, but at least I can be one small voice to help guide things in the right direction.
If you get a review from me, it means I thought your submission stood out from the rest (which, incidentally, can be either a good or bad thing). I like to think of myself as a competent writer, so I try to leave wordy but well-thought-out reviews for most everything I look at. If you impressed me, I'll let you know why in the most detailed way possible. If I feel you missed the mark, I'll offer what suggestions I can. Don't feel that you need to agree with me, but at least consider it.
If you don't get a long review from me (a paragraph or less), it usually means that I thought your submission was such a waste of time, I didn't feel a true review would benefit either of us.
If you want a high score from me, make a quality animation free of bugs. If there's voiceacting, make it bearable. If there's humor, don't get barbaric. And above all, do everything in your power to convince me you are not a complete and total mouthbreather.
